Description
Max & Me Pinot Noir - Cultivated in the High Eden sub-district of Eden Valley, this wine is medium-bodied, vibrant, and fresh, featuring a spectrum of dark, brambly fruits. It's vegan friendly and a single vineyard Pinot Noir by Philip and Sarah Lehmann.
At 520m, the windswept, south-facing vineyard sits on lean, gravelly soils, creating ideal conditions for our Pinot Noir. High elevation preserves the aromatic qualities of the cherished MV6 Pinot clone, planted in the early '80s. These mature vines yield exceptionally flavorful fruit. Crafted with open fermentation and aged 11 months in second-use, fine-grained French oak puncheons, this Pinot Noir is spicy, complex, and fruit-forward. It’s delightful now yet will further evolve beautifully with time.
