Our second release from this Eden Valley site. The cool, south-facing Mirooloo Road vineyard offers ample water availability and a healthy canopy for plush berry ripening, balanced by the natural restraint of shallow quartz and mica schist soils over sandstone bedrock.
Picked on 9 March 2018 with flavour intensity in focus, the grapes reached optimal ripeness to lift weight and soften acidity. Light pressings were included in the cuvée and the wine fermented fully dry, delivering savoury depth that counters the fragrant lime-citrus core.
Now gracefully mature at eight years, it shows the refined harmony and vibrant persistence that define well-aged Eden Valley Riesling.
