Description
Estate blend of House Block or North Block Shiraz (about three-quarters) with Bottom Block Cabernet — the two grow next to each other at Boongarrie. The mix changes a little each year.
Shiraz gives mulberry and generosity; Cabernet gives dark fruit and line. Unfined, vegan. Built to age.

Tasting Notes
Appearance
Deep rich mahogany red with a solid core
Aroma
Inviting nose of rich and fresh Shiraz and Cabernet dark fruits, Eden Valley violets, fine cedar.
Flavour
Dark bramble and cassis, the two varieties in one line, a long finish.
